  1. This is Dylan Hartford. my favorite character in Frankenstein is the Dr.'s monster. He is adventurous and is very confused in the world. What I like most about the monster is the fact that he is suprisingly smart for being just created out of body parts. He already knows how to make shelter and live off the land even though he was just created a few days before. He learned French over the course of a few weeks and could read in both French and English. Although he is somewhat evil for murduring his creator's brother, he is also kind beacuse he saves a young girl from drowning in a river. He also tries to make friends with humans but is always beaten or in one case shot for it. I like this character because of his intelligence and his innocence in the world.

    1. Dylan,
I am wondering what your thoughts are on the murder of his creator's brother. Does innocence play a factor?

  2. This is Ethan Ellingwood and my favorite character in "Don't Put Me In, Coach" is Mark Titus. Mark is also the author of the book so it is like a biography about his college life. I like Mark because he is a very humorous guy and he likes to have fun. He is probably one of the luckiest people on earth and i just think it is amazing how he got into his position as a walk on for the Ohio State University basketball team. I can relate to mark in alot of ways too. He grew up loving the game of basketball and his dream was to play in Division 1 college basketball. I too have this dream and hope to one day fulfill it. The thing I like most about Mark Titus is that he knows how to have fun. I dont like those players/people that are serious all the time and dont have time for friends. I think you should be able to like what you are doing and too have fun doing it. Mark is a perfect example of those kind of people. I hope that you get the chance to read this book and to make a connection with Mark like I have.
